Dr. John DeGarmo is a foster and adoptive parent of twelve years, as well as the host of the radio program Foster Talk with Dr. John. Dr. DeGarmo and his wife have fostered over forty children during that time, and he wrote his doctoral dissertation on Responding to the Needs of Foster Children Enrolled in Public Rural Schools.
