Aurelia Emerson is a regular contributor to Social Work Helper. She was raised on the east side of Lexington and noticed the lack of progression in her community. Aurelia learned early on the importance of higher education and how it affects my chances of success in life, and she is committed to achieving her goals and encouraging others to do the same. She hopes to work with the younger generation in diverse communities to let them know the importance of education, and their capabilities of progression despite their circumstances.
