Tim Chevalier is a software engineer who works on Web application infrastructure for a company in San Francisco, from his home office in beautiful Reno, Nevada. His expertise is in the areas of programming languages, functional programming, and compiler implementation, having worked on the Rust programming language at Mozilla and on implementation for the Haskell language. He has a master's degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Wellesley College.
